COMMONWEALTH GAMES: GC 2018 – Brisbane in QLD
Selected as Volunteer from new south Wales for Table Tennis in commonwealth games placed in Match courts and show courts doing various duties as required until the games concluded. Witnessed opening ceremony of the commonwealth games.

Participation & Achievements

• Sadashiv Modali also known as Lee Modali in Table Tennis in Australia has been a Table Tennis Accredited COACH since 2009
• Currently Playing for NSW Veteran’s competition and also Western Sydney Competition
• Modlee TT Club started in 2016 with 12 -players who have passion to sports especially Table Tennis and all the players accepted me as a coach
• Role involves training and coaching with basic skills every weekend for 5 hours in three different venues Glenwood, Westmead and Eastwood
• Conduct Annual Table Tennis Tournament
• A consistent and committed player of Table Tennis in Australia for more than 20 years for NSW Veteran’s and Western Sydney (Blacktown Club) and WON 60 TO 70 TITLES/Awards which includes State Championship matches singles and doubles and team events
• Participant in Table Tennis while in Secondary School and Local State Championship in YMCA in India
• Captain of Table Tennis Team in Engineering College during undergraduate and Post Graduate study and participated in all the events of All India Engineering College Championship and Inter University
• Keen interest in playing other sports like Chess and Cricket
• Active umpiring in Table Tennis for Women in Engineering College in India

• Selected for NSW Table Tennis for Veteran’s Team to play Nationals for over 40.50 and 60 years since 2006
• A Team member in President’s Team reached semifinals while playing Nationals at Sydney -2016
• Participated several times in Nationals in Table Tennis representing NSW Team in Tasmania, Perth Adelaide and Sydney.
• Blacktown Club Table Tennis player- won several awards in B grade and C grade Championship matches over since 2002
• Team Member of Country Championship matches in at Coffs Barbour in Australia 2003.
Played two Team events - doubles and two singles in different division - won (one Gold and one silver) and doubles - won (Silver Medals) Tally 5- Medals. This was also published in NSW Table Tennis News Letters
• Coach - Table Tennis academies for school children and also adults as required.
• Volunteer for NSW Table tennis tournaments for Administration and Umpiring
• Post Covid - NSW State arranged convention for over 50 years of age to do an activity to keep good health and fitness to play Table Tennis and Guided Australians to the nearest clubs
• Umpire - National Championship Games 2023 (Schools and Para Athletic)
