Torchbearer, by definitions is a forerunner in a campaign or movement and a person who is committed and leads, guides and inspires others.
Modlee Table Tennis Players are all pillars of this group. All Players take equal responsibility for growth, caring, fitness, health, and
costs. They provide feedback and suggestions on how to improve the club and game effectively. All Players have a passion for Table tennis and are committed to participate and play on a regular basis.
Table tennis brings lot of excitement and promise. It provides an opportunity to show their skills, determination and spirit that makes the game a truly remarkable sport aiming for new heights. It provides a platform to unite with the common passion for the sport. Fostering a sense of community spirit and aspiration for players to engage with new players and increase participation. Table tennis brings players/friends together along with an opportunity to keep up each other’s welfare and to discuss memorable moments and enjoyment/fun as they strive for excellence.
Modlee Torchbearers' Rolling Trophy is set up to be awarded to the individuals to recognise their role and contribution in fostering and furthering the spirit of TT Sport among the team members. They facilitate, consistently encourage and support the team to improve skills and enjoy the game. They are committed to further the spirit of the game. Every individual member of the team, who is a playing a role of encouraging others be it their regular attendence, lifting of the game of self as well as others and supporting the team by any means to make sure this spirit of ModleeTT is continued, is eligible for this recognition and the award.
